Oh, for crying out loud. It is not only the rich and famous who kill themselves, you know. All sorts of people from all walks of life commit suicide every single day. Why does it seem that you deem celebrity suicides need government intervention? That is ridiculous.

Newsflash: celebrities are people just like you and me and everyone else. The only difference is that their jobs and lifestyle are glorified by the media. They eat like us, use the toilet like we do and have the same problems like every day people across the whole wide world. Celebrities are not special or more important than the rest of us, nor are their deaths.

The media jumps on all celebrity news and lately it has contained coverage of those who have killed themselves. So what? Do you have any idea if the media bothered to publish all suicides across the nation, how many news stories there would be of suicidal deaths?

And, now you want your tax dollars to "do" something "to stop or reduce celebrity suicides?" Get real. The government does not give special treatment to prevent suicidal behavior from celebrities with over indulgent lifestyles and self entitlement issues. And, let's not forget: depression.

  • Life is hard and life is depressing a big portion of the time,
a lot of people are too fragile to handle it and have anxiety and depression that makes them not be able to go on, their life just feels empty and they can’t cope with the pitfalls of life. They can’t take it anymore and decide that they would be better off dead than be living and be miserable. They can’t find peace in this world and with themselves. It’s very sad. People need to be more compassionate and understanding of suicide instead of judge mental. People never really know what someone is going through behind closed doors.
