Do you think the DNC is holding Sondland’s kids hostage? Or they have threatened him? Or promised him a ton of money? What other reason?

"There was no quid pro quo."

    Psst...perjury is a felony.

"...oh THAT quid pro quo!  Yes that absolutely happened."

  • Sondland initially said there was no threat of withholding funds from the Ukranians.  He said there was no request for dirt on Biden, no quid pro quo.

Then he lawyered up, and his lawyer told him he could get in BIG trouble for what he said when it was shown to be lies.  So he changed his tune.

Sondland is not 'above the law' like Trump is.  He knows his words have consequences.  He doesn't want to go to prison.  So he's cooperating.

  • Simple enough.

Sondland realizes the scam is exposed and first and foremost he is protecting his own a$$ by telling what he knows.

  • Not at all.  I think he's realized he needs to tell the truth otherwise he's going to jail like Roger Stone.

  • He testified that President Trump wanted no quid pro quo.

How does that help the democrats fake impeachment?

  • Haha.

    I have a theory. 2, in fact.

    1. He was afraid of being convicted.

    2. Him and Trump were coached. Not by the DNC but by the GOP. To use this plot that Sondlands testimony can possibly not hold up in court but he won't be convicted.

    Because...

    1. Trump reluctantly said anything nasty concerning Sondland. Not even a Tweet.

    2. Sondland was smirking while testifying to the DNC and GOP.

I don't care which, but I'm hoping this is a win for the Dems. It sounds like it? But the opposition is sneaky.

  • It could be that he does not feel like doing time for Trump's crime.
