More says we only have 4 years to save the Earth. Do you believe him?

Moore doesn't even believe his own lies.  He can't be that stupid but he doesn't mind lying for his leftists political agenda.  Lies and exaggeration are all they have.  It would be nice just to hear him say something true for once but I think his head might explode.  Maybe he already tried to say something true and that explains the exploded head look.

  • Not at all! It is up to GOD to start with. Plus the sun is getting hotter and has increased in size as well.  We can not change that. Plus there was an ICE AGE and after that most the world was tropical for a few thousand years or so. This is a cycle that we are making worse; MAY BE! But this has happened before in the worlds history, before we people were even here> So it happens, and there is little we can do about it. Remember God promised that he would not use water again, but fire. If science is correct in a million years the three planets between us and the sun will be gone, the sun will engulf them as it increases it's size. Then it will roast us as well!

  • We know how this goes: In 4 years he'll still be saying we only have 4 years to save the planet.  Rinse and repeat.

  • Really it's academic.  We're not going to do it, so what does it matter how long we have?  When it's too late, people will look back and say 'We COULD have stopped this!'  They'll be right.

Everyone agrees that the longer we wait, the worse it will be.  There must be some line where, before that time it will be possible to save the world and afterwards the earth will never be the same.  Nobody's exactly sure where that line is, but it does exist!

  • Well, I'd like to see the quote and the context, since that is a rather bold scientific statement.

Let's be clear: Climate change is not about saving "the planet". It's about saving ourselves and the environment we evolved in, which is particularly suited to us and animals like us precisely because we evolved in it.

Things are about to get a lot more uncomfortable. We're heading back to the past of the planet; about 1 million years into it so far, if memory serves me right.  Humans have never lived with these Co2 levels. It's going to be a different planet and it's going to keep changing for a long time.

For the ecosystems, this is brutal. There's no doubt about it. This is rapid change in geological terms. (Geologists count time in tens of thousands and millions of years; an event that brings major change in mere decades is a catastrophic event). The end result is anyone's guess, but the past is our best guide, since that's where we're headed in terms of atmosphere, which, yes, is the main determinant of climate.
