Google doesn't show Fox News articles for news searches related to Trump. Isn't this illegal and dishonest?

I couldn't find a single Fox article related to Trump. It's well-known that Fox is a Trump supporting organization and Republican-sided. So, Google censoring it shows its trying to influence the election by not allowing equal coverage.

When I search "Trump" the very first result it returns is from Fox.

Google deplatforming or burying Fox News results would not be illegal since it is a private company and can do as it feels like.

  • Google does show Fox News articles. I just typed "fox trump" into Google, and 2 of the first 3 hits were Fox News articles about Trump -- and the other was an article about Trump saying to watch Fox News.

  • Do a search on anything with the word white and see what you find. If you look up a white family, white inventors, white couple - all you will get is interracial couples and black people. It's almost like Google has an ulterior motive behind their search engine.

  • try this..... ask someone you know who is the sole user of his/her computer or "smart" device and has a strongly-conservative slant to do the same search...  if you know a "newsie" who has a broad range of news outlets saved as "favorites" on his/her device, request that they do the same...

....you'll likely find that Google returns different results depending on the habits of the computer user...

the reason for this is quite simple...Google is a SELLING platform that makes its billions by convincing advertisers that they can not only deliver buyers directly to their sites by the millions...but also buyers who are "pre-screened"  and already prone to buy their products..

and guess what... each of the other mega media corporations pretty much do the same with ALL of their sites.. whether they claim to be "news" or "entertainment"...

try this simple test:  pick the web page of any of the popular "news" outlets or aggregators...read their headlines and ask yourself this question:  "Am I being given information.....or am I being invited to experience a strong emotion...or to have feeling I already have affirmed?"

the handful of execs who control over 95% of everything seen, heard or read in the media know today what tyrants and religious hucksters have known since the dawn of society:  people in an emotional state are more prone to buy whatever you're selling if you can stimulate or affirm those emotions...

  • Yes, there was a Google employee whistle blower that leaked that Google intentionally manipulated search results during the 2016 election on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

If you don't want Google manipulating search results for their political purposes, I would suggest you use DuckDuckGo or something else.

And even scarier, he was anonymous until relatively recently, and then his wife was killed in a car crash. Not that Google was responsible, but....
