Do you like the name Robin for a boy?

  • Best Answer

I love the name Robin for a boy or girl.  My male cousin Robin always stuck to Robin. He never went by Rob, which is an option.

  • No.  Children should not be given gender ambiguous names.  Robin strikes me as a female name, and it should not be given to a boy.

  • Not really, but you asked.

To me some of them unisex names just lean more one way than the other.

For example I would NEVER name a daughter "Taylor," but that's just me.

The one name that seems to be like right... RIGHT in the middle is "Alex," able to fit either male or female (IMO).

  • "Robin" is for the birds. What you or I think doesn't matter. He will get picked on because of it and will thoroughly hate it. It won't exactly enhance your standing in his eyes, either.
