  • Girlfriends weight gain?

My biggest pet peeve is becoming an overweight obese married couple. I feel like that’s 75-90% of married couples. To give you a background, I do not expect anyone who is with me to look like a model. I wouldn’t even say that I prefer skinny women but when my significant other becomes large it really annoys me.  She use to be in good shape going to the gym all the time but since we moved away she has become stagnant. While she still eats fairly healthy, any sort of exercise for her has been like pulling teeth.  She is critical of the way I dress and present myself so why am I not allowed to be critical of her weight gain and stagnant lifestyle. No one wants to be with a demanding women who feels entitled to become large.  Please help, how should I address this issue? I love her a lot but it annoys me greatly that she has become a drag dead beat at home.

  • What happens when the mortgage payer dies, but the rest of the family can't afford to pay it?

Best answer: Short answer?   The house is sold and the family moves out.

When someone dies, their debts and assets become part of their estate.   The estate must be "settled".   That means their assets are sold to pay off the debt.   Anything left over is distributed to heirs.

The family may get to keep the house if the deceased person has enough other money/assets to pay off the mortgage in full and has also left their assets to the family in their estate plan.

I heard of a lot people losing money in their 401ks during the last recession in 2008. This made me uncertain on 401ks and I've been more cautious because of it.

  • How to quickly and effectively build credit?

Sadly I am a little late to the credit building game. My parents had awful credit and told me to stay away from credit cards at all costs. Now I’m 20 and basically can’t get a loan for anything, even if I do the interest/apr is insanely high. I started a few months ago and got a secured card with my bank, and they only gave me a $300 limit. I also just got a capitol one card last month that I just made the first payment on (also with a $300 limit). I’ve been told the best strategy is to utilize 9% of your limit and pay it all the day after your statement hits, which is what I’ve been doing. My current score is 666, but I still have no FICO score. I’m just wondering what I should be doing to build my credit as efficiently as possible. Should I try to increase my credit limit, get more cards, get a personal loan? I just want to be able to buy a new car preferably not at 18% apr.
