  • How can I keep spiders away from my car?

I keep seeing spiders in my cars side mirror, there is a crack that they can crawl in and live behind the mirror there. I used a spider killing spray and sprayed around the mirror and it got rid of one of the spiders but I have now seen another one living in the side mirror. Also I have notied some spider webs inside of my car, haven't seen any spiders inside the car yet but have seen the webs. I just really don’t want spiders in my car, I have a big fear of spiders and if I saw one crawling around the inside of my car I would likely freak out and have a wreck. Any solitions to keep the spiders away from my car permanently?

  • Any weed growing pros out there?

Hi, I have found myself paying sickening amounts of money for a bit of smoke so I'm going to attempt a small grow of 1 or 2 plants. Problem is I am not very knowledgeable on the subject and I have never grown so much as a potato... and I'm from Ireland!! So basically can anyone help me pin point exactly what I need and what kind of feed I need and what schedule I should feed. I have seen small hydroponic grow tents on Amazon for £50 and grow lights from £30-70, is this the sort of thing I need? The space I have to grow is approx. 4x4x8ft and it is in an outdoor shed. Another concern I have is it is coming into the colder seasons soon, will the hydroponic tent make the seasons and temperature irrelevant? I know I am very ignorant on the subject but any help to point me in the right direction would be very helpful. Many Thanks!

  • What if the lower tenant wont help mow lawn?

So when i moved into a upper lower duplex, I was the upper. The property was all dirt and there were no fences. I was verbally told by the rental management company that the owner will add sod in the backyard, split the yard with a fence, and I would be responsible for lawn care of my section of backyard and the whole front lawn. My lease says I was responsible for all lawn care. They put a fence around the whole yard but no split. The sod was placed in the front and back. I ve been mowing the whole backyard and watering it because there is no downstairs tenant right now and I can use the whole yard. I was informed by the contractor building the fence that the owner isnt going to split the yard. When a tenant downstairs moves in, I dont think it s fair that they can use the backyard, possibly ruining the grass, and I would still be responsible. Is there anything i can do? I dont mind lawn care, I just dont want to mow other people s lawns.

  • Which is better: a seedless watermelon, or one with seeds?

Best answer: Well, the seedless ones have been genetically modified, but the determining factor on any watermelon is how ripe they are. Under ripe melons do not have the sweet taste of the very ripe melons, seedless or not.

  • Have any of you used predator urine to keep raccoons out of your fruit trees? Did it work? If yes, which predator and how?

Best answer: Go to your local zoo. They will sell you manure from animals. Use some of this manure around any area you want to protect. Just make sure to get manure from a predator. Lion, tiger, bear, wolf, coyote, any animal that eats meat. When raccoons, rabbits, deer, any animal smell the manure from a predator they will avoid it. They may not know what kind of animal it is but they can small the meat. Not being eaten they will avoid the area.

  • Neighbor discretion advice? Is my neighbor correct?

My neighbor just got a new wooden fence built in between my house and his. I grow a small vegetable garden that grows on my property that runs parallel to his fence and I water it using a sprinkler. In one instance, the sprinkler had to be raised because it wasn't watering the whole garden. So a few drops of water were going into his driveway in his yard behind his fence and he tells me that I can't have water from the sprinkler be hitting his car (Just a few drops every minute). But now, this time a few days after he complained about the first issue, he now sad that water from my sprinkler is hitting his fence and he told me that can't have water hitting his fence. (He actually trespassed into my yard, went into my garden and seen that about 10 feet of his fence had water on it from the sprinkler being on for 10 minutes). And I told him that rain water does more damage to the fence than my sprinkler. The fence is double paneled wood, so no water goes through the fence while the sprinkler water hits it. My question is: Do you think that it is against the law to water your garden and have a little water hit your neighbors fence. His complaining just seems so ridiculous and petty in my opinion. Is that your opinion as well?
