  • Does it wind you up when politicians feign being a man/woman of the people?

I know my point of view is going to be unpopular but I actually liked Turnbull because he never pretended he wasn’t an elite and successful businessman. His net worth is in the hundreds of millions and he wasn’t ashamed of it, he put millions of his own dollars into his schemes. Scomo is on $500,000+ a year but attends a NRL match pretending to be a common bogan just before an election. How stupid does he think people are? He couldn’t look more out of place. Abbott was an Oxford Uni educated politician who often turned up at bars across the country, downing pints, pretending to be a regular alcoholic. Okay, he did actually pull that off quite convincingly. Don’t get fooled by politicians who are in it for the payout though. None of them care about the average working/middle-class person.

  • Are any of you experts in contract law regarding agency?

Some Australian cvnt has smashed my 55 inch Samsung 4k TV in Thailand and the Russian property management company is claiming I am liable for the damages. I'm not, the rental agreement says any damage to my property or equipment is the liability of the renter. The Australian who can't behave in a normal manner signed this agreement. They said they could not recover the damages from said Australian ******** so I am claiming they are responsible because they have a duty of care as my agent. Where do I stand legally?

  • Do you care about politics outside your country?

Seems like many people only care about United States politics if they live in the United States and Australians only care about Australian politicians if they live in the Australia. Just so you know, News channels cover stories from many countries daily, it's stupid to only care about news from your country.

  • What exactly would constitute assimilating into Australian culture?

Hundreds of thousands of Brits have moved to Australia but when would you classify them as assimilated? Let's face it, Australian culture is just a cheap rip-off of British culture. God forbid I ever have to move to Australia, but the first thing I would do is find the nearest cricket club and go smack around some Australian blow-hards. It would take quite a severe knock to the head to ever make me talk in an Australian accent. I doubt British people go over there and just start talking like retards.

  • Where did Australians get the strange idea that their laws are based on Christianity?

An Australian far-right commentator was being interviewed on the BBC and he argued that Cate Faehrmann should be removed from parliament because she admitted to taking MDMA. The basis for his argument was that Christianity forbids the use of drugs and Australia cannot have lawmakers who have taken drugs because all their laws stem from Christian values. His point of view is flawed in so many fundamental ways. The only thing Australians know about laws are how to break them. Australians think they are high and mighty, holier-than-though and God's gift to man but they don't realise that none of their laws are based on the Bible. Love it or not, like a third of the world, your laws are largely based on English common law. Your civil law, like ours, has been adapted from the Roman system. You inherited a secular state from the British, your laws are written and governed by man/woman. You don't kneel before any God, unless you choose to do so.

  • Is Israel Folau being persecuted for his religious beliefs?

Best answer: No because it's in his contract, but the NRL have made a fool of themselves by saying they won't have him back because of his comments, yet they let players back that have committed domestic violence against women, have driven under the influence, sexually assaulted women, caught using drugs and one bloke even invaded a house while he was in the US, terrorised the family and bashed the husband, he didn't even know them.
